Overview
We are interested in understanding both cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation of immune activation and immune suppression, two distinct and yet complementary activities of the immune system. Ultimately, through our research, we hope to build a foundation that will aid in developing thoughtful, successful strategies allowing us to manipulate the immune system to fight against human diseases.
